The fourth month. Sad to say, I only worked ONE day this month. I had a mild flu right after New Year's, and then I had a pet project (LINUX) on my PC, so I was not spending my spare time working on the model.
So this one hour for January involved MORE fence construction
(6 sections), as well as cutting out little Deco parts for the
"Oscar Bruch" sign. Also the loading station 'gates'
next to where the coater train loads.

Yes, almost one month since the last effort. More
fences and decals.

...And one more month passes. More fences around the perimeter
of the coaster model. The next part (pages 36 and 37) was
the last piece of "non decorative" construction -- the
Cashier's booth. Originally I was going to put some small
people figures inside but decided not to. The cashier's booth
was fairly straightforward to construct, with lots of the little
plastic windows and square booths. I finished about 2/3 of
the booth.

One week after Tax Day! And one month since the previous
effort! I finished the cashier's booth, then skipped a couple
of pages to put on the "Achter Bahn" sign on top of
the ride. Almost done!

The last part of the model was lots of fencing making the way up the lift hill stairs, followed by 20 of the little flags to hang on the fences. Boy did my hands cramp up after an hour of detailed X-acto knife work!
Finally, on May 20, 1998, after 35.25 hours of labor and 7 1/2 months of elapsed time, I put the final flag on top of the lift hill and called the model complete.
