A:  Just a tad. Can do very simple C++, but have yet to write an actual app.  I can answer most any newbie question, but not hard questions.

• Example Q2 : I can't get to a network drive.  What do I do?
  After you establish that the network card is physically plugged into the network, make sure some (any) network machine is on, and that it has a shared directory, and try mapping that.  Look at your network settings. Are they correct? You don't know? Never mind, just let me do it.
• Example Q3 : I just networked my office and now want to make a gateway between our LAN and the net. We should be getting a dedicated line any day. What hardware should I use?
  You call that a newbie question? I should be asking *you* questions (if you decide on something, let me know and tell me your reasons).

A: I watch too many movies. Occasionally, I'll rank them against eachother, but I don't like giving away the stories.
